Lydia celebrated Memorial Weekend with her Grandpa and Grandma and GREAT Grandpa and Grandma! LuJean took the train in on Friday. She watched Lydia on Saturday while Sean and I went to dinner and then out with friends (definitely the longest I have ever been away from baby).
Then on Sunday Grandpa and Grandma Fritz came in from Fort Wayne and Sean grilled--the pic is Al, John, and Sean "celebrating."
On Monday, John hung shades in Lydia's room so that she will sleep past 6:30 a.m., and then he and Sean golfed while LuJean helped me sort out my closet... out with the maternity in with the summer! (Hardly anything fits, but I am working on it.) Then Lydia went out to eat for the first time--well she sat there while we ate at Max and Erma's. She was just perfect. We should go out to eat as much as we can while she still naps so much.
TODAY Lydia had her second checkup with Dr. Scott. This time I brought a pen and paper because last time I couldn't remember any of her measurements or anything. I am just learning here! She is now 22 3/4 inches long and weighs 10 pounds (her head is 15 inches). This puts her weight in the 85th percentile and her height in the 97th percentile!! Obviously, she is not taking after her stubby mother.
TONIGHT, Doug and Sarah are watching Lydia while Sean and I go see Terminator. (I love Christian Bale and Sean loves the Terminator series, so it's a perfect fit.)
